I recently did a live concert photoshoot of American Idol’s Jordin Sparks and it was so much fun! She’s currently doing her Battlefield Tour and did an energetic show in LA last weekend. She’s an amazing performer and I’d like to see her be an actress someday too. The photos were taken for Beatweek Magazine. Here are some of my favorites from the night!

I work part-time as a freelance writer for Beatweek Magazine. As Beatweek Magazine’s Senior Editor, I write mostly reviews about iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad apps, iPad accessories, as well as coverage of events and interviews with people in the social media industry. In addition to writing, I also assist the Web Admin (Jason Tucker) and Editor In-Chief (Bill Palmer) with up-keeping the website.
One of my favorite projects is redesigning and creating content for the UCR Library Staff Intranet. I was given full control over design and content, and over a few months, this was the result. The site has it’s own mini search engine, staff profiles, internal mailing list (interfaces with Mailman), and a whole lot of new content.
You can read more about the project in greater detail in the Website Creations and Design section of my portfolio.
Lately, I’ve been focusing more on writing for iProng Magazine, which is the publication for iPhone, iPod, music, podcasting, and social media lovers. I write mostly iPhone app reviews as well as on-site reports for events.
Recently, I had the opportunity of interviewing Felicia Day, star of The Guild, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
, and more. The article is the cover story for iProng Magazine’s 50th’s issue, and one I’m very proud of. This special issue was released today, hope you enjoy the read!
