The Staff Web was created to be the UCR Libraries Staff internal website. The website was built with our existing CMS system, so all of staff was able to contribute their own content. The website features a staff roster search, search engine, mailing list (and admin interface), and a dynamic roster (PHP generated). Graphics were designed in Photoshop and Illustrator.

My Involvement:

Design template, HTML coding, Graphics, Website Architecture, Training, Create and Update Content, Organize Data. Technologies used include PHP, mySQL, CSS, HTML, and CENTAUR Content Management System.

I also maintain the content on this website at least once a week.

Timeframe:

July 2006 – September 2006

Libstaff - Front Page

The main entry page. We needed a way to display links to all of the departments and units, so our Task Force decided to have a pseudo orgchart on the main page.

An example of a departmental page.

Libstaff - Sample New Employee Page

Some content I put together for our New Employee webpage.

Libstaff - Sample Roster Page

This is the staff roster search. Once you enter part of a person’s name, their profile will be displayed, along with their photo, email address, user id, phone, location, etc.
