I am extremely happy! It has been a tough and challenging two years in my new job, but today made it all worth it. I am so grateful for such a supportive supervisor and colleagues here at USC. Many thanks to my UCR family for your love and guidance through the years. You have helped me immensely to adjust to my new position here. And mostly thank you to my husband for all of his encouragement. I am so honored to have received this “Dean’s Staff Early Career Award.” My little girl was there to cheer me on too.

About the USC Viterbi Staff Early Career Award
Nominees in this category will have recently joined the School in the past 1 to 3 years. They may have other university experience, but will have recently joint the VSoE. Their performance must above normal expectations, and beyond the basic functions of their job. These are employees who demonstrate very quickly in their performance the qualities of excellence. We would expect to see them nominated for the Award for Excellence in future years. Candidates for this award must have been with the School for at least 1 year and less than 3 years.
